While cherries are usually associated with delicious fruit, the wood itself is equally amazing. It also looks great with Cobalt Blue, the color that the New York Times says is key for Summer 2022.

Cherry trees grow best in well-drained, moist, and acidic soil, and they need partial to full sun. They can grow up to 35ft in height. 

Heartwood has a light pinkish brown color when freshly cut, but over time it darkens into a medium reddish-brown color. The sapwood is pale and yellowish. Cherry wood generally has a straight grain and fine or even texture. This wood has a natural, moderate luster.
